How about Recycling Household Waste and Raising Funds for Your Favourite Charity?
Green Crusaders’ recycling projects have raised RM 79,560.50 for charity and saved 319 tonnes of waste from going to the landfill! You can too!

But first, a warm welcome to GreenCrusaders.com!
Readers’ Digest gave us the name “green crusaders” when we were featured in their magazine in 2002 and we’re glad the name stuck. Because we are passionate about recycling.
And not just any recycling. We’re here to let you know more about recycling your household waste.
Household waste refers to the rubbish that comes out of each household – paper, glass bottles, aluminium cans, old clothes and more.
Even food scraps can be recycled (it’s called composting and we’ll teach you how to do that too!) into good old fertiliser which you can use for growing healthy plants and vegetables.
What We Have Been Doing Since 1996
To date, we’ve given more than 250 talks all across Malaysia. We give talks completely free to companies, manufacturers, hospitals, multinationals, banks, apartment committees, NGOs and more.
All that is required of you is to transport us to and from Bukit Mertajam (where we are based).
We’ll show you examples of successful projects, how you and your community (or your employees) can get started with a better, cleaner and more resourceful method AND generate money to channel back to your favourite charity. We’ve done it successfully (and we are STILL doing it) in our little town of Bukit Mertajam, Penang since 1996.
In the meantime, feel free to browse this website to learn more about recycling household waste as we have links to recycling contractors, recycling information, what you can recycle and lots more.
If you have listened to our talks before or have embarked on a recycling project in your company or community, contact us because we want to hear your success stories.
Remember, be the change you want to see in this world!
Be part of the solution not part of the problem.
